The successful candidate will join the Data Processing On Board Software department. Your mission will focus on engineering activities designed to implement innovative solutions in the field of data processing and on board software for the new generation payload instruments. In this context, you will be in charge of the following activities Supporting the instrumentation payload project teams in defining the hardware and software architecture necessary for the industrial implementation of the onboard digital processing solution meeting the need Participating in the development of the roadmap to propose a catalogue of technical solutions covering all performance needs and operational and environmental constraints for the purpose of developing a product policy Prototyping new architectures based on COTS and solutions adapted to space as well as porting signal processing algorithms to these architectures. Defining the process and methodology for porting algorithms in HWSW codesign to hardware and software solutions Dialoguing technically with the different project entities, customers and partners agencies, laboratories and SMEs Responding to invitations to tender, managing projects and communicating the results in workshops and conferences This position may require travel within Europe once a month. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience A graduate of an engineering school or university equivalent, ideally with a specialty in advanced systems, electronics, realtime computing andor robotics, A 1st experience in systems engineering hardware and software design, Ideally a 1st experience in the implementation of algorithms and signal processing on hardware andor software targets Proficiency in Matlab Simulink, digital system architectures and VHDL, ability to adapt and openmindedness, team skills, taste for innovation and technical challenges, the ability to take the initiative and work independently, meticulous with an analytical mindset, Please apply online.
