Business Unit Controller

We are currently looking for a Business Unit Controller to support our customer in the Netherlands. Business Unit Controller Key Tasks and Responsibilities In this role you will be working in the Human Resources, Facility Management and Communication Directorate DHFC at ESAESTEC. You will have the following responsibilities Support the processes related to the main resources of the organizational entity i.e. budgets, manpower, staffing, including planning, execution and followup of the activities and resources budgets, manpower, missions, recharges Support the planning, preparation, execution and followup of activities and related procurement actions in terms of output schedule resources Assessment and monitoring of the status of the procurement actions Implementing all procurement and contractual administrative actions Maintaining up to date the related data and performing data analysis Liaison with Contract, Budget and Payment Officers to ensure the coherence of the internal and external administrative data Contribute to the definition of new and improvement of existing related processes and tools and production of related documents Support the risk management processes Support to the inventory and asset management processes Support the maintenance of industrial return databases. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in engineering or business administration Several years experience in business administration, controlling of resources and activities Proficient user of office tools, especially of Excel and of SAP Familiarity with relevant ESA corporate applications would be an asset Previous working experience at ESA and familiarity with ESA budgeting, accounting and procurement would be an asset Ability to work autonomously and to tight deadlines Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
