Pointwise v17.3 R1 generates structured, unstructured, and hybrid meshes; interfaces with CFD solvers as well as neutral formats; runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac; and has scripting language (Glyph) that can automate computational fluid dynamics (CFD) meshing. In addition to direct integration with overset grid assembly (OGA) software, features include support for PLOT3D, ANSYS Fluent®, STL, and NX files; robust T-Rex; anisotropic tetrahedral extrusion; and hybrid mesher.
