2019-05-13 18:24:31| EmergingTextiles.com

Cambodia's apparel exports have further surged in 2018, being actually tripled in the past ten years. Exports to the European Union have continued sharply rising, but are now threatened by a possible withdrawal of their duty-free access. A return to 12% import tariffs would not significantly reduce Cambodian exports, according to a just published report by the World Bank. Current uncertainties could however benefit Vietnam and Bangladesh in the short term. Our statistical tables offer a comprehensive view of overall Cambodia's apparel exports in the past 10 years and exports per destination in the last 5 years. EU and US imports from Cambodia in 4th quarter 2018 are also available, with percentage changes being calculated in volume and value terms. Unit prices are available for a large number of product categories. All data can be downloaded covering a 5-year period from 2013.
