Cashmere prices have significantly risen in January in China, according to latest data from local Qinghe market. The cashmere price index is far from surging however, with export prices in US$ being much more boosted by the fall of the dollar, as reflected by our series of data. Our below report offers an overall picture of short-term and long-term trends of cashmere prices with the domestic cashmere prices in Qinghe (Hebei) and latest export prices for Chinese fibers and yarns (carded and combed). Historical data covering the last five years are available for download.
