China Apparel Exports in 2017 (Country Report)

China's apparel exports have continued declining in full last year with knit clothing exports being however supported by a sharp fall of unit prices whereas woven clothing exports were more negatively affected by the sharp rise of labor costs in the past years. Exports have surged to new markets, like South Korea, Russia and even Chile. Our statistical series provide a comprehensive picture of China's clothing exports in full 2017, with volume, value and unit price changes per destination. Export data are also available over the 5-year period from 2012. In addition, the report includes a comprehensive review of US and EU imports from China per product category.
