China Yarn Prices: Domestic and Import Markets (Weekly Report)

Cotton yarn imports continued soaring in the first months of the year in China where spinners are no more competitive on the market of low counts and increasingly specialized in higher counts of combed cotton, whereas massively shifting to polyester use. Our weekly report covers the China yarn domestic and import market indicators, as well as local market prices in Qianqing (Zhejiang). Prices of a large number of counts are released for spun cotton, polyester, viscose and blends. Domestic and import yarn prices are compared. Historical data are available for download.
