Polyester fiber prices have continued rising this week in China and spinners have now reacted with raising prices on their end. Viscose fiber prices are showing trends of a rebound, although spun viscose prices are still falling. Our weekly report covers the China yarn domestic and import market indicators, as well as local market prices in Qianqing and Shaoxing (Zhejiang). Prices of a large number of counts are released for spun cotton, polyester, viscose and blends. Import prices are also available for yarns from India, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Vietnam. Domestic and import yarn prices are compared. All data are available for download.

Gross margins have fallen in Pakistan and in India in July, as spinners were unable to raise their price offers in line with the surge of their material costs. In China by contrast, prices have slightly dropped in yuan terns whereas sharply falling in dollar terms, due to the depreciation of of the renminbi. Pakistan Yarn Prices: Domestic and Export Markets (Weekly Report)

Cotton yarn prices have begun further rising in the last seven days in Pakistan over a new rebound of cotton fiber prices, our correspondent reports. Demand is recovering after the election period whereas polyester fiber prices could further increase. Our weekly review offers a comprehensive picture of the domestic and export yarn markets in Pakistan, with cotton yarns, polyester-cotton, polyester-viscose, polyester spun and viscose spun prices being covered. All these weekly data are available for download over a 12-month period.
