Cloud Architect Luxembourg Betzdorf You will play a strategic role defining and maintaining the SES cloud strategy, as well as in architecting its cloud environment. You will report into the Cloud, Integration and Automation department and acts as an enabling team helping other IT teams to become cloud native and bring our cloud first strategy to life. Key responsibilities Contribute to creating and maintaining a wellinformed cloud strategy Execute the Cloud First Strategy by driving cloud adoption together with the other IT departments Enable other IT departments for successful cloud adoption Embrace cloudnative thinking, solution design and service adoption Identify cloud solutions meeting the strategic needs of the company Work closely with IT security to ensure the companys cloud privacy and security Work closely with Legal and Regulatory to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques for cloud migration, including bulk application transfers to the cloud Ensure that all cloud systems comply with prevailing IT Architectural Standards, including but not limited to Information Security policies Ensure ITIL standards are followed along with any defined SES processes Stay uptodate with cloud platform evolution and identify opportunities for SES Take on responsibility for timely implementation for assigned projects and activities Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner Document environments and procedures Provide input to management for administrative and management tasks Take ownership of resolving assigned tasks, requests, changes and problems Occasionally deliver 2nd and 3rd Level oncall support to assist the SES teams on application or system issues, including outside office hours Competencies Ability to work in an international, matrixmanaged and resultsoriented environment Ability to explain technically complex scenarios to a nontechnical audience Proven project management skills to take the lead on smaller change projects Effective communication skills written and verbal to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners Effective analytical abilities Qualifications Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant field 7 to 10 years experience in IT of which 3 to 5 years experience designing, executing and supporting IT cloud solutions Sound technical understanding of IT architectures, cloud architectures and related technical skills as including business applications Excellent skillset in Microsoft technologies, Azure being mandatory Fluency in English, any other language is considered as an asset Solid understanding of cloud computing and technology systems, as well as experience designing and transferring applications to the cloud Willingness to occasionally travel internationally Whats in it for you?
