We are currently looking for a Configuration Management Process Support to support our customer in Germany. Configuration Management Process Support Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European organisation providing weather and climaterelated satellite data, images and products for its users. You will have the following responsibilities Creationmodificationdeletion and the version tracking of Configuration Items Change control, Configuration status accounting and Auditing Anomaly Reports tracking process Identification and archiving of software releases Definition, implementation and improvement of the CM processes Configuration Management Guides and Manuals Support to CM Processes and Tool users Testing of the new releases of the Configuration Management tool Issue and present Configuration Status Accounting Reports Perform Configuration Management Inspections and Audits. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in Computer Science or equivalent Several years experience in the field of configuration management including build, deployment and installation processes on large softwareintensive high availability operational systems Practical experience with Configuration management tools Serena Dimensions or Clearcase Databases programmingSQL Oracle or Sybase Scripting languages vb.net, Python, Perl or Javascript Configuration Management standards such as CMMI, ISO or ESA ECSS Source code control tools CVS, SubVersion SW development environments on UNIX Testing of Software applications with complex ManMachine Interface Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Fluency in English is mandatory. This job is located in Darmstadt. We are looking for candidates who are available from April 2014 or as soon as possible thereafter.
