We are currently looking for a Configuration Manager to support our customer in Germany. Configuration Manager Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space transportation and satellites. In this role, you will have the following responsibilities Definition and Implementation of a configuration process in the development project A5ME Review of change proposals concerning the A5ME Upper Stage impacts Defining of impacts for A5ME Upper Stage from change proposals coming from system level or other parties e.g. Customer, Subcontractors Processing of change proposals coming from the A5ME Upper Stage through the Configuration Boards identification of technical content, planning issues, development and production cost Interface to external parties Customer and Subcontractors regarding configuration matters Participation in Configuration Control Board CCB Organization of Local Change Boards LCB Review of the A5ME Development Configuration Management Plan Review of the Subcontractors Configuration Management Plans Management of ITAR relevant data. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or other relevant field Several years experience in System Configuration Management Space System Engineering Negotiation of modifications Management of medium projects with certain complexity Management of production qualification development projects with strong dependencies between them Fluency in English and German is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
