We are currently looking for a Configuration and Documentation Manager to support our customer in Germany. Configuration and Documentation Manager Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European leading system house, specialised in development and implementation of high technology solutions for aerospace, science and industry. You will be part of the Project Control Office that is supporting the project and will be reporting directly to the project manager with the following responsibilities Define and freeze the baseline configuration and then perform change control and monitor the configuration items Implement configuration control procedures in the project for hardwaresoftware Implement documentation control procedures throughout the project and maintain the document structure under configuration control Analyse customer hardwaresoftware requirements for the project information system with respect to the company infrastructure Coordinate all activities necessary for implementing and maintaining the project information system Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in engineering, business administration or quality assurance Solid working background in the disciplines related to the tasks described Good planning and organisational skills, an ability to synthesise complex information and a capability to work effectively in a team environment Working knowledge of the German and English languages is mandatory Extensive experience in the use of MS Office tools Word, Excel, Visio, Project Profound knowledge for use of a database system Eclipse, Access, etc. This job is located in Munich.
