Consilium's CFD5000 Receives SIL 2 certification for New Markets

In 2015, Consilium introduced its CFD5000 fire detection system for transport and offshore applications. Since 19 February 2016, the system has also been SIL 2-certified by TÜV NORD, according to IEC 61508.
