Package description Full details on application The position is a Fixed term contract for 12 months with possibility of extension. This role is intended to employees belonging to Categoria Protetta Law 6899 only. Main responsibilities For our activities in Serco Support Office, we are currently looking for a Data products Operation and Monitoring. Tasks and Responsibilities The Data products Operation and Monitor is used to monitor and control the data products system in an operational environment. The role encumbers in the following areas Earth Observation EO data products management Systematic generation of metadata for EO data products Data information system population Data information system monitoring and control Anomaly Handling investigation and first line of problem solving associated to EO data products management Business reporting. Ideal candidate Has expertise in EO data products and auxiliary file knowledge Linux O.S and native shell scripting Understanding of xmlxsd Run, operate, monitor the system according to performance parameters Provide helpdesk and user assistance to users which are interested in using the system Provide first line support in case of issue reported by users Perform corrective maintenance at least for blocking problems Preparation of business reporting. Any experience in the following would be of great value Java programming SQL knowledge Tableu. Additional skills Good communications skills in English spoken, written and possibly good knowledge of Italian Proactive approach to problem identification and resolution Take full responsibility for the successful conclusion of the activities and successoriented Very good user liaison capability and teamplayer spirit Sharp and curious mind Availability to travel within Europe to attend meetings.
