For Astrium Satellites in Bremen within the area Vehicle Engineering for the department Product Design we are looking for a Design Engineer mf for Orbital Service Vehicles. Your responsibilities will include Carrying out design activities, integrating requirements in the design objectives and rules and defining the interfaces between the design activities Evaluating and comparing feasability, efficiency and performance indicators for various solutions Producing documentation to justify the selected concept Delivering the documents for the design definition and justification and other associated design documentation Analysing design requirements and specifications, performing analyses to decide between various technicaldesign options Carrying out detailed evaluations of the performance data for the selected solution and its compatibility with the specification Contributing to the definition of the performance requirements for lowerlevel components Contributing to the definition of the validation and test plan and evaluating the corresponding results Analysing any deviations from the design during the production process and deciding whether these deviations are acceptable Proposing improvements and RD measures for your technical area We are looking for candidates with the following skills University degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial mechanic, vocational training as an industrial mechanic and equivalent years of experiences or similar Knowledge in project management with focus on configuraton management systems VPM, Primes or equivalent Knowledge in the use of SAP in product design, SAP process Fluent negotiation level of German and English, a beginner level of French would be desirable If you are interested in this position, please apply online via www.jobs.eads.com.
