We are currently looking for a Development Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Development Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Functional System Engineering Verification team for the engineering discipline Operations and Failure Detection Isolation Recovery FDIR in Earth Observation and Science projects, you will have the following responsibilities Supporting the operations architect in the independent creation of operational flight proceduresFOPS and contributing to the flight operations manual, user manual and other documentation related to operations within the project Definition of telemetry and telecommand packets of the central software parameter Supporting the functional verification writing of onboard macros, especially for FDIR actions Implementing of MOIS, using of software verification facility Performing of tests of flight procedures and reviewing test results with regard to the overall system and the impact of onboard software. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent Several years of professional experience in the area of satellite operations Experience with the system verification of satellites Good basic knowledge of the onboard software Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German is an advantage. This job is located in Friedrichshafen. We are looking for candidates who are available for 7 months and can start as soon as possible.
