Development Engineer Deadline for applications 14082019 Job Description For our client we are looking for a Development Engineer for their location in Bremen, Germany, to join their Dynamics and Testing department. Tasks and Responsibilities Perform dynamic analyses as well as stability and strength verifications of composite and metallic structures Establish Finite Element Models FEM for dynamic as well as static analyses using tools such as Ansa, Patran, or Hypermesh and appropriate preprocessing methodologies Perform nonlinear dynamics calculations as well as coupled analysis fluidstructure interaction Contribute to the verification and mechanical justification structural integrity. Requirements At least a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field At least 2 years of previous experience in Engineering and Aerospace sector Experience in the mechanical analysis and sizing of primary and secondary structures mandatory Experience in structural verification mandatory Experience in programming and software automatization desirable Extensive experience with Nastran and Patran Experience in CAE tools equivalent to NastranPatran e.g. Abaqus or Permas Experience in one or multiple of the following computer languages MATLAB, Python, Fortran, Visual Basic desirable Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team and in a transnational organization Team player with good to very good knowledge of the English language German is an advantage.
