We are currently looking for a Development Engineer Construction of Optical Sensors to support our customer in Germany. Development Engineer Construction of Optical Sensors Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is one of the leading providers of optoelectronic instruments and systems for aerospace and security applications. You will have the following responsibilities Designer for secondary optics and thermal FPM for the project Metimage Development and design of opticalmechanical modules Optimization in terms of mass and volume Design and calculation of components and modules Creation of production documentation as well as manufacturing support Cooperation in an interdisciplinary project team Responsibility for costs and deadlines. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in precision engineering mechanical engineering or equivalent Strong understanding of structuremechanical thermo elastic behaviour Experience in the field of optomechanical design Deep knowledge of 3D CAD, preferably Creo Simulate Working knowledge of design data management or product data management Knowledge of MS Office Fluency in English is mandatory.
