Development Engineer Dynamics and Testing Deadline for applications ASAP Job Description For our client we are looking for a Development Engineer Dynamics and Testing for their location in Bremen, Germany. Please note, the successful applicant will be employed by ATG Europe and not by our Client. The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to Tasks and Responsibilities Perform dynamic analyses as well as stability and strength verifications of composite and metallic structures such as lines or tanks via numerical simulation Permas, Nastran, Abaqus. Establish Finite Element Models FEM for dynamic as well as static analyses using tools such as Ansa, Patran, or Hypermesh and appropriate preprocessing methodologies. Perform nonlinear dynamics calculations as well as coupled analysis fluidstructure interaction. Design, size, and develop damping or attenuation devices. Support competence enhancement and process optimisation for stateoftheart design methodologies of nonmetallic and metallic structures primarily dedicated to cryo and noncryo lines as well as tanks. Foster and enhance optimisation tools and methodologies for pre and postprocessing developed for launcher structures. Contribute to the verification and mechanical justification structural integrity with regards to mechanical and thermal environments of the upper stage primary and secondary structures. Establish dynamic test predictions and test plans incl. test procedures and specification, to execute dynamicstructural tests, and to evaluate and analyse corresponding test results. Requirements At least Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable degree Experience in space industry and familiar with space development processes Experience in the structural design sizing of composite and metallic structures Experiences in one or multiple of the following computer languages such as MATLAB, Python, Fortran, or Visual Basic would be an asset Experience in analysis, verification, and test of launcher primary and secondary structures such as lines, tanks, and their interfaces Detailed knowledge of Nastran Detailed knowledge of Patran Level of German at least business fluent Level of English at least business fluent Good communication skills to ensure the flow of information Ability to integrate into a team High level of responsibility, resilience and organisational skills.
