Airbus Defence and Space is a division of Airbus Group formed by combining the business activities of Cassidian, Astrium and Airbus Military. A vacancy for a EEE Electronic, Electrical and Electromechanical Components Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Toulouse. The successful applicant will join the EEE Parts Space Systems Support France Team. You will be responsible for providing quality and expertise services for Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical EEE parts to a prime contractors project team. You will optimise the selection process for EEE parts and support procurement with reference to the requirements, interfacing with all the Airbus Defence Space actors involved in the EEE parts process. You will manage the external subcontractors in your domain and support the project team, interfacing with the final customer for all EEE parts dossiers. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Definition of EEE parts requirements applicable to the project, Consolidation of EEE parts documents Declared Components Lists DCL, alerts, etc., Review and approval of subcontractor compliance with project requirements, Participation in or support for project reviews, Approval of component selection via Part Approval Documents PADs of Justification Dossiers JDs issued by subcontractors, Management of Parts Control Boards PCBs assessing all EEE activities performed by subcontractors, with final customer representation as required, Support for Project Reviews and Approval of Non Conformance Reviews related to EEE parts, Management of the application of EEE alerts by subcontractors, Assessment of EEE parts activities performed by subcontractors, Contribution to project reporting and management of EEE parts documentation. This role will involve some travel for business twice per week in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Educated to Masters degree level or equivalent in Electronics or a related discipline. Electronic and technological knowledge of different EEE part families, Ideally, knowledge of the EEE parts space market and the associated normative environment European and US, Experience in working with project organisations end customers and primesubcontractors, An advanced level of English.
