We are currently looking for an EPSSG Space Ground System Verification and Validation Engineer to support our customer in Darmstadt, Germany. EPSSG Verification and Validation Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the EPSSG System Verification and Validation Team in the Low Earth Orbit Division LEO at EUEMTSAT, you will have the following responsibilities Definition of the approach for testing of spacetoground RF interfaces of the MetopSG and JPSS satellites with relevant ground stations Preparation of test specifications, test plans, test procedures, schedule of activities Following up the development of RF suitcasesRF IOT tools, review technical documents and support acceptance testing Coordination of shipment of test tools such as RF suitcase to the ground station Execution of the test, analysis of the results and preparation of test reports Performing reviews of technical documentation provided by industry Support for the maintenance of the EPSSG SpacetoGround Interface Requirements Documents SGIRD Preparation of verification control documents for the SGIRD, with the synthetic status of the performed verification. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in the domain of engineering, physics or equivalent Handson experiences in RF testing of spacetoground interfaces Procurement, installation, use and maintenance of relevant test equipment such as RF suitcases Preparation of test documentations test plans, specifications, procedures and reports Preparationexecution of tests, RF design, Kaband link designtesting Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
