EU's clothing imports have been supported by a rise of the euro and the Sterling in the last year. Unit prices have increased everywhere in dollar terms, declining in euro terms with however sharp differences depending on product categories and origins. A few low-cost countries have taken advantage of a double-digit increase of their shipments in many product categories, in volume terms, thanks to the sharp fall of unit values in euro terms, as reflected by our comprehensive review of EU's clothing imports per origin and HS 4-digit category with volume, value and unit price changes. Market shares are also calculated for each major supplying country. Full data are available for download.
