EU's clothing imports have stagnated in the first three quarters of 2019, due to the continued weakness of the euro. A declining China has been replaced by other suppliers with currency variations helping Turkey in controlling the higher end of the market, whereas Bangladesh was struggling with higher export prices. As usual, results are widely different among countries and categories, as reflected by our below quarterly report. Our series of comparison tables offer a comprehensive view of EU clothing imports per HS 4-digit category with volume, value, and unit price changes. Market shares are also calculated for every supplying country. Full data are available for download.
