000 ABPZ20 KNHC 060520 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 1100 PM PDT Fri Oct 5 2018 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane Sergio, located almost 1000 miles west-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. An area of low pressure located just offshore from El Salvador is producing a cluster of showers and thunderstorms that extend along and just off the coast from Guatemala to Nicaragua. This system is expected to drift northward and move inland over Central America later today, which will end the opportunity for tropical cyclone formation.
