000 ABPZ20 KNHC 132336 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 500 PM PDT Tue Aug 13 2019 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: An elongated trough of low pressure located about 1200 miles west-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula continues to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Environmental conditions are expected to be conducive for some development during the next few days, and a tropical depression could form later this week before upper-level winds become unfavorable. This disturbance is expected to move west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph during the next several days. * Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...40 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...medium...60 percent.
