000 ABPZ20 KNHC 291739 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 1100 AM PDT Mon Jun 29 2020 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: Showers and thunderstorms have become better organized in association with an area of low pressure located a few hundred miles south-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. This system could become a short-lived tropical depression later today or tonight before moving over colder waters on Tuesday. * Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...60 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...medium...60 percent. An area of low pressure is forecast to form a few hundred miles southwest of the Gulf of Tehuantepec later this week.
