000 ABPZ20 KNHC 092314 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 500 PM PDT Fri Oct 9 2020 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Depression Norbert, located several hundred miles south-southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico. A small, well-defined low pressure system located more than 1400 miles west-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula is producing limited shower and thunderstorm activity due to nearby dry air. Because of this dry air, environmental conditions are expected to only be somewhat conducive for development while the low moves toward the west or west-southwest at 10 to 15 mph during the next couple of days. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...30 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...low...30 percent. $$ Forecaster Berg
