000 ABPZ20 KNHC 010516 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 1100 PM PDT Mon May 31 2021 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Blanca, located about 600 miles south of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. Shower and thunderstorm activity has diminished tonight in association with a weak, broad area of low pressure located about 1200 miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. The system is expected to continue moving westward into an environment of unfavorable upper-level winds, drier air, and cooler waters during the next day or so.
