000 ABPZ20 KNHC 220511 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 1100 PM PDT Thu Oct 21 2021 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: Showers and thunderstorms associated with a low pressure area located about 250 miles south of Acapulco, Mexico, continue to show signs of organization, but recent satellite wind data indicate that the low does not yet have a closed surface wind circulation. Environmental conditions are expected to be conducive for additional development, and a tropical depression or tropical storm is expected to form over the next day or so while moving slowly west-northwestward or northwestward just offshore the southern coast of Mexico.
