000 ABPZ20 KNHC 221148 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 500 AM PDT Fri Oct 22 2021 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: Showers and thunderstorms associated with a low pressure area located about 250 miles south of Acapulco, Mexico, continue to become better organized. Although earlier satellite wind data indicated that the low did not yet have a closed surface wind circulation, any further increase in organization would result in the development of a tropical depression or a tropical storm later today. The system is forecast to move slowly west-northwestward or northwestward just offshore of the southern coast of Mexico over the next day or so.
