000 ABPZ20 KNHC 121120 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 500 AM PDT Thu Sep 12 2024 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: Offshore of Southwestern Mexico (EP93): Showers and thunderstorms associated with an area of low pressure located less than 200 miles southwest of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico continue to become better organized. Environmental conditions appear conducive for additional development, and a tropical depression or tropical storm is expected to form later today or tonight. Interests in the Mexican states of Baja California Sur, Sinaloa, and Sonora should closely monitor the progress of this system. Tropical Storm Warnings and Watches will likely be required for some of those locations later this morning.
