Tasks and Responsibilities Selection of CommercialOffTheShelf COTS and HiRel electronics boards. Flight qualification of COTS electronics boards. Technical Specification of custom electronics developments and customizations. Technical management of developers of electronics boards and FPGA IP Core developers. Assessment of radiation impact on the system. System reliability, availability, maintainability and safety assessments. Qualifications and Experience For this position we are looking for engineers with the following background and skills Masters or Bachelors degree in an electronics discipline. Experience with flight systempayload development. Experience with electronics boards manufacturing and assembly. Experience with FPGA IP Core development. Experience with flight qualification, verification and testing. Experience with the ECSS processes for electronics development and verification. Experience with rugged and embedded computer systems. Excellent communication skills in English both spoken and written.
