JOB DESCRIPTION Activities will include defining technical approaches, FPGA firmware implementation VHDL, HW acceleration as coprocessing avionics of satellites or spacecrafts or some of their instruments onboard, software hardware codesign, budget size and cost estimating, hardwaresoftware implementation for space appliations, documentation, verificationvalidation and certification of embedded hardwaresoftware mainly based on FPGA and FPGAmicroprocessor. Definition architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for operational or simulated space hardwaresoftware systems. Provides technical support for VHDL implementations and assists in selection of the more adequated FPGA andor microprocessor platforms in line with the implementation targetting space applications which in most cases will refer to radiation tolerant devices. Tailoring and deployment of processes, tools and metrics. Applicants should be versatile as this position will require overseeing or interfacing a variety of tasks covering aspects of multiple disciplines embedded flight hardwaresoftware, simulation environments, algorithms and telemetry systems.
