A former Hazleton real estate agent on the run since police began investigating homes that he sold was detained in Florida after flying back to the United States from the Dominican Republic, Pennsylvania State Police said Thursday. Police said Beato is accused of accepting cash and checks from numerous victims while using his position as a real estate agent to gain access to vacant homes.
