Description of the job The Future Programmes and Proposals department in Stevenage is responsible for all mission and system proposals and studies. It also provides key resources including proposal managers to major proposals for implementation projects. You will be provided with support, guidance and training so that you can contribute to proposals and study activities for the European and UK Space Agencies. You will support the production of proposals, mission feasibility studies and technology development activities. As a systems engineer you will be working on a variety of projects with values up to several million . This role offers the opportunity to enhance your system engineering experience. This role will require occasional travel to Europe. Tasks accountabilities Delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposalsstudy data packs within customer defined timeframes, focusing on trial deliveries for the customer Delivery of proposalstudy contributions within agreed budgets Interface with a variety of stakeholders, including ENS management, sales and marketing, engineering teams, cost engineering, finance, and commercial. This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Companys success, reputation and sustainable growth. Required skills Engineering experience within the Space industry Ability to communicate with different audiences, technical and nontechnical alike Strong time management prioritisation skills Strong written English language skills Excellent attention to detail.
