We are currently looking for a GEO Configuration Management Support to support our customer in Germany. GEO Configuration Management Support Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Information Management and Configuration Management Team, you will have, among others, the following responsibilities Managing the documentation under configuration control according to the agreed procedures and supporting the release of relevant configuration listsreports Act as secretary of Configuration Control Board meetings Follow up the change process with the related action items Track versions of hardware and software items and documentation according to the evolution of the configured items Verify the hardware and software configuration status by performing configuration audits Maintain up to date the configuration management databases Support the drafting, review and update of the Product Documentation Trees, generate and maintain the Configuration Item lists. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in computer science or engineering Conducting and implementing Configuration Management of large scale, softwarecentred systems in an operational environment, preferably for highavailability 24hday systems Knowledge and experience in specifying, reviewing and implementing Configuration Management plans, processes and working practices Project development methodologies Configuration management tools e.g. Serena Dimensions CM, Jira or Clearcase or business process management tools electronic workflows Software development on a medium or large size project Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
