The Position We are in the process of forming a team to work on a wellestablished yet multifaceted project for a customer in the vicinity of Munich. The project will serve as a testament to Telespazio Germanys ground breaking engineering services, as well as best processes and management practices, and will be regarded as an outstanding acquisition in the Greater Munich area. We are looking forward to meeting you! ResponsibilitiesDuties Working in a team of six engineers with crosscertification in various Spacecraft subsystems is required for the role. Among the many responsibilities are, but are not limited to Application and maintenance of the flight procedures according to the mission schedule Use and maintenance of missionspecific software Execution of simulations with the use of satellite simulator Creation and maintenance of manuals, Ground Operations procedures or others related Project documentation Offline data collection including trend analysis and reporting Monitoring and status analysis of the subsystems and the payload Maintenance of the TM TC databases Supporting the execution of the Flight operation activities Provide regular Oncall services for assigned subsystems QualificationsExperience University degree or equivalent education in any relevant technical domain. Several years of experience in Spacecraft operations Good understanding Operational IT system and databases user level Essential Skills Technical Very good knowledge of Spacecraft subsystems Familiarity with Spacecraft control systems like SCOS2000, GECCOS etc. Fluency in English, both speech and writing Knowhow of operational simulators Experience with the generation of Flight Control Procedures and their validation Interpersonal Friendly and upbeat outlook Team fit is very important to us Selfassured and selfstarter Excellent communication skills, both speak and write in English Basic communication skills in German, both speaking and writing, are preferred, but please do not hesitate to apply if you do not yet meet this requirement.
