JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities Duties Tasks Project engineer for GNSS and Air Navigation. The selected person will be involved in a project with PANSA the polish air navigation service provider as local partner, and ESA as customer. The goal of the project is to integrate several GNSS tools developed by GMV into a SW platform to provide engineering services to PANSA as end user e.g. to validate flight procedures. Under the direction of the project manager in GMV, they will be involved in engineering studies and software development for space projects based in GMV Polish Offices in Warsaw and future Space related projects contracted by GMV in Poland. An initial training period 2 months in Spain integrated in currently running projects and teams is foreseen. Qualifications Telecommunications engineer Required knowledge SW engineering Programming C Fluent English spoken and written Desiderable knowledge GNSS GPS, EGNOS, GLONASS Programming mySQL databases, Java, Human Machine Interfaces, Distributed Computing, ... Integration of HW equipment e.g. GPS receivers Air Navigation Experience Experience is important but not essential Applicants should also be able to work effectively, both in a team setting and autonomously.
