Position Reference 735 We are currently looking for a GNSS Receiver Engineer to work at our clients premises in the city of Prague, Czech Republic. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support the technical followup of EGNOS User Segment projects Contribute to technical specifications of GSAs user segment prototyping projects for Aviation, Maritime, Rail and other market segment if need be Provide technical expertise for project followup and project reviews. Support the standardisation of SBAS system and receivers for aviation, such as Preparing publications, presentations and participations to standardisation fora. Writing text proposed for the standard itself as well as contributing to GSAs secretarial tasks of the groups concerned. These tasks are related to the SBAS International Working Group, ICAO NSP, RTCA SC159 and EUROCAE WG62 Ensure mutual awareness and crossfertilisation of projects dealing with standardisation of SBAS receivers and standardisation of applications. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Masters Degree in the relevant discipline, with at t least 5 years of relevant professional experience. Experience in developing GNSS receivers Experience in aviation standards Ability to write clear, precise and concise documents in fluent English Experience in supervising outsourced activities in an international environment. The following skills would be highly desirable Experience in defining technical requirements from potential users for future services within a regulated environment. Experience leading a standardisation group of technical experts in an international forum. Experience in developing user segment equipment for transport safety.
