LSE Space is looking for 2 experienced Ground Operations Engineer mf in order to provide support to Galileo FOC Operations Services in Oberpfaffenhofen. The Galileo Ground Operations Engineer will be involved in the preparation phase within Galileo FOC operations. The main tasks of the position will be Preparesupportexecute SIV activities GSIVSIVSFTTesting Coordination and Execution, etc. Preparesupportexecute validation activities Definition of validation scenarios, plans, etc. Procedure development and validation, testing, result reporting Preparesupportexecute software engineering activities Ensuresupport databases preparation, coordination, synchronisation, verification Give support to training and simulation campaigns Support internalexternal servicesactivities Monitor performance services and trigger corrective actions Generate and maintain ground operations documentation Follow upsupport reviews and milestones Interface to the management, ground and flight operations team Generate reports as required Take over ground positionduty on call support of routine, special and contingency operations during PF Commissioning, IOT and routine phase inclusive provision of shift and oncall support Preparation of and participation in SVTSCTCs and simulations Anomaly Reports handling writing, action processing, support of review boards Operations Support including MOIS application and software Offline analysis of the subsystem performance Operational Support Tools OPSWEB User manual generation and documentation support. Training documentation and training support. Development and customization Ground operations planning and coordination of ground activities Participation in internal and external meetings Qualifications Experience University degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline Experience in ground and spacecraft operations preparation and execution LEOP, Commissioning, Routine, Contingency Additional skills required Systemminded and a team player Able to work in an interdisciplinary team Selfstarter, able to work independently with little or no supervision Fluent in English, both in speech and writing Work LocationOberpfaffenhofen, Germany Benefits A permanent employment contract.
