We are currently looking for a Project Product Assurance Engineer to support our customer in the Netherlands. Galileo Product Assurance Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities In this role you will be working at ESAESTEC in support of ESAs Technical and Quality Management Directorate. You will have the following responsibilities Establishing the PA Safety requirements baseline for all elements of the Galileo FOC satellites Reviewing contractors project PAS programme plans and specifications Monitoring project PA status identifying relevant PA issues Assessing the implementation of PAS requirements, participating in design safety reviews and directing the necessary preventivecorrective actions Guiding and monitoring the application and procurement of EEE parts, materials and processes and controlling implementation of applicable requirements Monitoring the manufacturing, integration and test activities Participating in all project reviews, including safety reviews Reporting project PA status deviations from plan schedule of all of above Arranging for approval of the Galileo Satellites PAS requirements baseline and changes thereto Ensuring the implementation of the Software PA and Software Configuration Management Requirements baseline across the Galileo Space Segment Supporting the definition of the formal acceptance requirements and conducting of acceptance reviews of all contractual deliverable items Ensuring the preparation of design tradeoffs, analyses and reports using RAMS data to support project decisions Supporting Security activities for space segment as appropriate Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline Several years relevant experience in product assurance and quality assurance in the aerospace domain Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Knowledge of Configuration Management or the implementation of Product Assurance within a quality system certified to ISO 9001 would be an asset Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
