Galileo Security Operations Validation Engineer DEOD813003 Job Description The tasks of the Consultant will typically include Monitor the Galileo Security Operations In Engineering activities for the implementation of the System SECOPS, In Validation activities by ensuring readiness of security procedures for Satellite, Ground Segment and System Test Campaigns Ensure the Security Operations readiness for GALILEO Services Provision Support the Galileo accreditation process as main interface between the industrial operations teams and the Mission Level Accreditation bodies. Support the GALILEO Security Requirements and System Accreditation Unit by ensuring correct flowdown and implementation of the specifications and methodology Coordinate the technical definition, implementation and validation of the operational security measures including ground and space assets coming from Risk Treatment Plans. Support the PRS User Communities with respect to the operational activities to be implemented as soon as the Galileo PRS signals are available to them Required Skills and Experience University degree or equivalent education in Electric or Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering Significant experience in senior position for security operations related activities, with experience in management tasks. Aproven experience in in a commercialindustrial environment is required Desirable Skills and Experience Experience related to developments in the Galileo project GIOVE, IOV, IOC will be considered an asset.
