INSYEN AG is based at the German Space Operations Center GSOC in Oberpfaffenhofen near Munich, Germany. We currently have more than 50 employees from 15 nations andprovide engineering, operations and product development for manned and unmanned space missions. We are currently looking for an engineer to fill a position as Galileo Simulations Officer Start date1 March 2015 Requirements Academic degree in engineering or equivalent qualification Strong background in training Good general understanding of satellite subsystems Good knowledge of spacecraft simulators Good teamworking and communication skills Fluency in written and spoken English German would be an asset The general scope of duties will include the following tasks Management of training related tasks including organization, management and follow up of training status Support Training Team in analyzing training needs and developing training material Support Flight Control Team with training and validation of operational scenarios Organize nominal and contingency simulation campaigns in preparation for launches and for team training Ensure that the simulator configuration is always in line with the satellite status Create scripts for the generation of breakpoints for different validation scenarios Interface to the management and groundflightmission operations team Act as a point of contact between simulation developer and flight control team Ensure coordination between different control centers for sim campaigns and general information exchange on Anomaly Reports and workarounds Represent the Customer in important Training and Simulation related activities Generate and maintain relevant operations documentation and reports Follow upsupport reviews and milestones Please send your application, your up to date CV and your salary requirements to INSYEN AG Attn.
