INSYEN AG is based at the German Space Operations Center GSOC in Oberpfaffenhofen, 25 km west of Munich, Germany. We currently have more than 50 employees from 15 nations andprovide engineering services related to manned and unmanned spaceflight operations in the areas of project and subcontractor management, ground systems engineering and management, LAN and WAN design and implementation, system security and data encryption, system databases, command and telemetry systems, voice and video systems, system management and operation, spacecraft systems monitoring and control and realtime space operations. Furthermore our software engineers are working on a 3D Visualisation and Simulation Software which is e.g. used for remote sensing, sensor simulations and virtual training. We are currently looking for an engineer to fill a position as Galileo Spacecraft Operations Engineer Start dateJanuary 2015 Requirements Academic degree in engineering or equivalent qualification Experience in space and constellation operations Knowledge of the Galileo system and project advantageous Knowledge of SCOS advantageous Good teamworking and communication skills Fluency in written and spoken English German would be an asset The general scope of duties will include the following tasks Creating and validating Flight Operations Procedures FOP Definition of test cases for FOPs Writing FOP validation reports Testing FOPs on simulator Participation in full Flight Control Team FCT simulations and SCTCs Test and validation of operational items like simulator, software, database, MC system and MOIS Participation and provision of training spacecraft subsystems, operations tools, operation concepts Screening of daily and monthly reports Support FCT for nominal and contingency operations during commissioning, IOT and routine phase, incl. oncall Analysis of sc anomalies using live and retrieved telemetry Participation in weekly FCT meetings and Anomaly Review Boards Please send your application, your up to date CV and your salary requirements to INSYEN AG Attn.
