Offering regional and global models, Panasonic Global 4D Weather delivers weather prediction capability using TAMDAR-acquired atmospheric datasets. Latter includes continuous feed of detailed tropospheric data in 4 dimensions: longitude, latitude, altitude, and time. Employing data QC and data assimilation, system offers 13 km horizontal resolution and 64 vertical levels, 4 forecast cycles/day with 10-day duration, Tropical Cyclone relocation algorithm, and Gravity Wave Drag parameterization.
