Working as a part of the Earth Observation and Remote Sensing Team, main activities will include Big data and machine learning techniques Data fusion and quality control Algorithm development and prototyping, automation of processing chains, system integration Contribution to ongoing operational projects, supporting the team to achieve timely deliverables and objectives. As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following At minimum, a 21 degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Physics or Computer Science or related subject Experience of programming, e.g. Python, C, Matlab Experience of analysing and processing data Strong analytical and communication skills Innovative thinking and problem solving skills Keen to acquire new expertise and share knowledge Able to work under own initiative and in a team environment. Desirable attributes Remote Sensing and Earth Observation knowledge Experience of analysing and processing geospatial data Experience in Linux OS. This role will be based in Guildford and will receive the full Airbus Defence Space Graduate programme benefit package including an annual Salary of 27,000, plus a welcome payment of 2,000.
