Vacancies for Graduate Galileo Ground Mission Operations and Performance Analysts mf have arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Munich. The successful applicant will join Galileo Operations Bid. As members of the Galileo Engineering Support Team reporting to Airbus GSOps Operations Manager OM, the Analysts will undertake technical tasks and duties on the elements of the Galileo Ground Control and Mission Segments as required to maintain the high availability of the signals broadcast by the Galileo satellites. The Analysts will Collect and collate data regarding the health and performance of the Galileo satellites and ground systems Collect and collate data regarding the status of the broadcast Galileo services Support the production of service status reports Configure and manage spacecraft and ground system operational data bases, under strict configuration control Support the investigation and rectification of spacecraft and ground system anomalies Undertake archiving and retrieval of system data sets. Support Galileo ground system maintenance activities. Interface with other internal and external teams, in particular with the operations team active at the alternate Galileo Control Centre Support a regular oncall service Please note that work locations are at the Galileo Control Centres in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany or in Fucino, Italy. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Educated to degree level in Engineering General Engineering or equivalent Thorough and practical understanding of good systems engineering processes Experience of operating real time operational computer systems Experience in Galileo Operations or Engineering would be an advantage Experience in operating air traffic control, spacecraft, data communications or related ground systems would be an advantage Good interpersonal and communication skills Negotiation level in English German andor Italian skills would be an advantage Please apply online for this vacancy at our careers site www.jobs.airbusgroup.com with your CV attached.
