As a member of the executive committee and Head of Innovation and Development, you will lead the department for the development of innovative products and services. This position is based at our Head Office in Darmstadt. It is fulltime and permanent and intended to start around July 2020. We are looking forward to meeting you! Your Role You will craft and handle the innovation process within TPZG resulting in the selection and management of projects from scouting to launch in alignment with the companys global strategic positioning You will create an environment of ideation in which methods of innovation are applied, and determine the rules of engagement for such activities You will generate a plan for engaging with external entities, who could be selected as partners, suppliers, andor clients for our new products You will be responsible for definition and validation of Product Business Plans and Product Life Cycle Management Building and maintaining strong crossfunctional relationships at all levels throughout the organization will be a key part of your role, in order to understand future market and client needs and prioritize to achieve the best results You will enable a fast and professional decisionmaking process to select and staff the development projects As a leader, you will actively develop your product managers and their teams, constantly assessing and supporting them to improve their capabilities and performance You will make sure that the latest knowledge regarding innovation management and its tools are accessible to the entire organization, and thus act as an ambassador for agile working and stateoftheart innovation and business development methods Your Experience Masters degree in a relevant field related to AerospaceSpace or ICT Technology 10 years of dynamic, multidisciplined work experience with shown management leadership, particularily in face of technical challenges and complexity Proven deep technical ICT knowhow and experience of product development strategies and implementation in a related technical field Shown experience leading and developing teams, using agile methods, scrum and lean innovation in multidisciplinary contexts Strong problem solving, customer service, interpersonal, decision making, leadership, and presentation skills High degree of customerbusiness operations knowledge applied to the translation of requirements into product development Excellent critical thinking and execution capabilities with sophisticated management and technical business analysis skills, financial profitability assessments and value analysis Your Additional Skills PMP andor PPMC certification, or equivalent Business level proficiency in English written and spoken Basic German language skills Your Benefits of Joining Us By joining the Telespazio family, you will enjoy a multicultural and multilingual working environment, in which passion, team spirit and engagement play a key role.
