How will lower market prices affect your crop insurance decisions?

2014-03-07 23:02:27| Corn & Soybean Digest

The decision for crop insurance elections is just around the corner. Farmers have until March 15 to make their choices for the 2014 growing season. With significantly lower market prices, and crop insurance guarantees, compared to last season, we'd like to know what your decisions will be for this year. Will you choose more coverage over last year? Less coverage? Do your crop insurance decisions stay the same no matter what the market price or guarantee? Or, do you not even use crop insurance? Take the poll and let us know. Feel free to comment about your choice!   I'll increase coverage (compared to 2013). I'll decrease coverage (compared to 2013). My crop insurance elections stay the same each year, no matter the price. I don't need crop insurance. Go to result page on submit:  0 read more
