(Telecompaper) Huawei expects its network infrastructure business to see at least 10 percent growth this year as rising demand for next-generation products in Europe and elsewhere more than offset lost sales in the US. The head of the company's wireless network marketing unit, Bob Cai, told the Wall Street Journal that this target was not particularly ambitious. Huawei's equipment business grew 11 percent in 2012. The wireless network equipment market was worth USD 7.4 billion in 2011, when it accounted for 23 percent of total revenues. Huawei's equipment exports to the US are stalled over security concerns.
